An annually run symposium related to development of smart innovations for smart cities. The symposium objectives are; to create awareness through research and publications about the future prospects of smart cities. The symposium also serves as a platform to exchange ideas and thoughts in international prospect and stand. In addition, the symposium is emphasizing the role of academia, universities, industries, experts, and innovations for promoting smart cities solutions, projects, smarter ideas, consultancies and continuity in the form of indexed publications. The 10th International Smart Cities Symposium (10-scs-2026) will be held at the University of Bahrain, Bahrain, on December 1-3, 2026. The symposium will feature world-class plenary speakers, major technical symposiums, industry and academic panels, and invited tracks. "It is with great pleasure that we announce the launching of the 9th IET GCC robotics Challenge. The Challenge consists of two cycles: The Local Rounds (at each of the GCC States), and the Final Round (which will take place as an online Event). The 2025 challenge theme is to design (Ideas/Design) related to a Robotics and AI for Agriculture Applications. We look forward to receiving your entries for the GCC robotics challenge."

The 10thGCC Robotics Challenge, is of two rounds robotics competition, (local across the GCC then a regional phase). The 2026 theme is related to design of robotics systems for (social interactions applications). The challenge is for encouraging young professionals and universities students to get involved with latest design/ thoughts for robotics technology.
The 2026 final round is set for the (14 of November 2026), online. Local rounds have to finish before the 1st of November 2026.
