As the national university of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the university has a mandate to lead the nation in terms of human capital development, leading innovation, contributing to economic development and leading society.  Technology and the rapidly changing external environment, which is transforming teaching and research, are challenging the traditional view of the university. Students and wider society require year round access to high quality courses and flexible modes of delivery. The economic context of the GCC and challenges that we currently face of growing the private sector are also challenges that the University of Bahrain must respond to through focusing on producing a high quality and skilled workforce and the next generation of leaders.  Preregistration and welcome reception will be offered the morning of April the 12th, 2020. The location will be at University of Bahrain, Bahrain (Zain E-Learning Center) in Sukhair Campus. The three days event will run at University of Bahrain Campus.  The symposium language is English.  Arabic is the official language of Bahrain. English is widely spoken also.  French and German are also spoken within the tourism industry.  VISA:  Upon request, the symposium organizers will send you a letter of invitation to obtain a visa.

In the middle of Bahrain, not far from where the Formula 1 racetrack now draws the crowds, is the point where in 1932 the Arab world first struck gold - black gold, that is - and oil has been the mainstay of the country ever since.
